We present two projects in the monumental complex of the Amphitheatre of Tarragona (Spain). The first consists in the intervention in three vaults on the lower level of the structure that supports the southern tier of the Amphitheatre. The second project presented is the study of the marble pieces currently stored in the vaults of the intervention mentioned. These pieces were originally part of the main portal of the Romanesque church that was builtin the 12th century on the Amphitheater’s arena, almost completely demolished in the early 20th century. The pieces and the remains of the base of the portal have been 3D modeled by photogrammetry. From the data obtained we have articulated a virtual reconstruction of the Romanesque portal of the church.
